Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board (MPRTB) works with local tourism businesses to build a sustainable industry through innovation and advocacy.
MPRTB is the peak independent tourism board and lead voice from tourism in the region, delivering robust and identifiably beneficial partnerships. MPRTB aims to balance environmental sustainability and destination growth. Established in 2012, the MPRTB is a not-for-profit association governed by a skills-based board supported by staff and industry networks. Our role is to work in partnership with industry and government to grow the capabilities and drive rewarding and lasting economic, environment and social outcomes for the visitor economy.
Our growing parternership base of more than 700 businesses include product and services such as: accommodation, tours, marine attractions, wellbeing spas, wineries, cafes, restaurants, farmgates, galleries, breweries and distilleries, golf, retail and adventure activities. We work with the businesses across domestic and international tourism in addition to business and corporate events.
In 2025, the Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board was recognised as the region's official Visitor Economy Partnership (VEP). The VEP is underpinned by strategic endorsement and funding from both the Victorian State Government and the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, and generates funds through industry partnerships are generated through industry partnerships working with all stakeholders to grow and sustain the local visitor economy.
